Abbot of Unreason
The Lord of Misrule, also known as the Abbot of Unreason, was an officer - generally a peasant of a sub-deacon - appointed by lot at Christmas to preside over the Feast of Fools in the pagan tradition of Saturnalia.
In ancient Rome, from the 17th to the 23rd of December, the Lord of Misrule was appointed in the guise of the god Saturn. During this time the ordinary rules of life were turned topsy-turvy as masters served their slaves; the Lord of Misrule presided over all of this and had the power to command anyone to do anything.

Scanning
' - Will I ever be like I was again? Bruce asked.
- What you were brought you here. If you become what you were again the sooner or later it'd bring you here again'.

A scanner darkly
'What does a scanner see? he asked himself. I mean, really see?
Into the head? Down into the heart?
Does a [...] scanner like they use these days, the latest thing, see into me - into us - clearly or darkly?
I hope it does, he thought, see clearly, because I can't any longer these days see into myself.
I see only murk. Murk outside; murk inside.
I hope, for everybody's sake, the scanners do better.
Because, he thought, if the scanners see only darkly, the way I myself do, then we are cursed, cursed again and like we have been continually, and we'll wind up dead this way, knowing very little and getting that little fragment wrong too'.

Snow
Imagine, a few hundred public servants standing up in front of a building, blasting at the top of their lungs:
'Running through the field where all my tracks will be concealed
And there's nowhere to go
I said hey oh yeah... oh yeah,
Tell my love now
Hey oh yeah oh yeah oh yeah, oh yeah'

Um dia peço-te em casamento
Um dia escrevo-te uma canção
Um dia desato a cantar na rua
Um dia fujo do trabalho para brincar com a minha filha
Um dia farei de ti a pessoa mais feliz do mundo
Hoje é o dia

Mirage
Fata Morgana is the Italian name for Morgan the Fairy, a sorceress of medieval legends.
This sister of the legendary King Arthur is sometimes portrayed as the ruler of the island paradise Avalon and is said to have had a number of magical powers, among which was the ability to change shape. She has been blamed for causing complex mirages over bodies of water, especially in the Strait of Messina.
Hence the use of 'fata morgana' as a synonym of 'mirage'.
