Para o Espião Perfeito

Der abenteuerliche Simplicissimus Teutsch (known as Simplicius Simplicissimus or simply Simplicissimus) is a German Baroque novel written in 1668 by von Grimmelshausen. Simplicius Simplicissimus is also the name of the protagonist.

Inspired by the Thirty Years' War which devastated Germany from 1618 to 1648, it is regarded as the first adventure novel in the German language.

Simplicissimus was also later the title of a satirical German weekly magazine started by Albert Langen in 1896 and published through 1967 (with a hiatus from 1944-54).
