-       -  I can already see it. You just don’t get it. You will again be surprised that the new guy will not differ so much from the previous one. You won’t believe your bad luck. Instead of recognising that theirs are --and always will be-- different views, carved out of a different stone. A different mother stone, not just with different polishing.

- I just don't think that you are right. Look: less violence, more education, basic rights, better health. These will be the ones surviving. Granted, maybe they’ll go down again. Maybe down and down, almost to nothing. But you cannot kill them... not the barbarian hordes, the Inquisition, Nazi Germany, the Soviet Union, North Korea, none of them managed completely... every time we have burned books in the past, every dystopia describing the future, they try... And yet, here we are.

- But you can't get rid of the opposite views either! Perhaps they are needed.

- How could they be needed?

- There we go again.

- It is us who are right. There is a reason why these ideas have survived over the ages, despite it all. A reason why people still yearn for truth, freedom and justice.

- This is your dream. Not a fact. Not a fact at all...
